How It Works

How to get notes from a sermon video

  1. Copy the link to the replay

On Facebook tap Share, then Copy link on the Live once it has ended. On YouTube copy the address of the service or sermon video.

  2. Paste it and choose Key Points

Key Points gives the message as a list. Pick the language you want the notes in: the service can be in Spanish and the notes in English, or the other way round.

  3. Read, jump and keep

Read the notes, open a chapter to jump to that part of the service, and keep the transcript for your small group or study. Everything is saved to your history.

What You Get

What you get from a service replay

The message as a list

Key Points pulls out the main points the preacher makes, in order, so you can follow the argument of the sermon in a minute.

Chapters with start times

Worship, readings, the sermon and the closing each get a chapter, so you can skip straight to the message in a 90-minute service.

The words, not a guess

Notes are made from what is actually said in the video. Ask "Which verses were read?" or "What was the second point?" and the answer quotes the transcript.

Full services on Max

Most Facebook Live services have no captions, so PageSum transcribes the audio: the first 5 minutes free, 25 minutes on Pro and up to 90 minutes on Max, enough for most full services. YouTube services with captions work at any length on Pro.

Any language

Notes in 36 languages. Read an English summary of a Spanish, Portuguese or Tagalog service, or Spanish notes of an English one.

Transcript to share

Copy the full transcript, or download it as TXT, SRT or VTT, for a church newsletter, a study guide or subtitles.

Every week in one place

Each service lands in your history and is searchable, so last month's sermon is one search away.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI take notes on a sermon?

Yes. Paste the link to a public sermon or church service video into PageSum. It transcribes what is said, then writes the main points, chapters with start times and a short summary. Choose Key Points mode for notes as a list.

Does it work with a Facebook Live church service?

Yes, once the Live has ended and the replay is public. Copy the link from the Share button. Most Facebook Lives have no captions, so PageSum transcribes the audio: up to 90 minutes on Max, which covers most full services. Free covers the first 5 minutes and Pro the first 25.

Does it work with a sermon on YouTube?

Yes. YouTube services usually have captions, so Pro covers any length. On the free plan you get the first 5 minutes of any video.

Will it list the Bible verses that were read?

The notes and transcript include the references the preacher says out loud, such as "Isaiah 43, verse 18". You can also ask "Which scriptures were read?" and get the list from the transcript. References that are only shown on screen and never spoken are not picked up.

Can I get notes in another language?

Yes. Choose any of 36 languages for the notes. The transcript stays in the language spoken in the service.

Why does a service link fail?

Videos in private groups, friends-only posts and some replays that Facebook only shows to logged-in people cannot be opened from a link, because PageSum never signs in to your account. Test the link in a private browser window: if the video plays there, it usually works. If you have the video file, upload it instead (up to 50 MB).

Is it free?

Yes, the free plan covers 1 video a day (3 on your first day), the first 5 minutes of each, with the transcript and chapters. No credit card. Pro removes the daily limit and covers whole services with captions; Max covers caption-less services up to 90 minutes.

Keep the message, not just the memory
